It sure would be nice if cotton/poly/span or just cotton/span, solid colored, button down shirts would be available again.  I just don't care for straight poly...too hot for this time in my life.

Rant over.

There are 100% cotton or poly/cotton blend t shirts available all over, you just have to look for them. Personally, I mostly buy Perfect tees from Woman Within. Got about a dozen of them. I prefer a tunic length and a v neck - they have a cute one with shirring at the neck. Pretty & feminine - 100% cotton - no shrinking or fading from these shirts and only $13.99. Just can't beat them! BTW - I wash them in the washer in hot water and dry in the dryer - wear them daily so they get washed a lot. There are many other styles - tank tops - boat necks - henleys etc etc. They definitely earn the name Perfect Tees.

You might try Land's End for dress shirts.  But I'm not sure they still carry any with a button-down collar any more.

Yes Lands End still has button down shirts. Talbots, LL Bean, plenty of other places.

@Marebear54  That’s definitely not a “rant”, but rather a question. I’d try the original sites w/ last forever favorites like LL Bean, LANDSEND, Talbots, etc. You can also search on Amazon or Google and put in your specifics. Good luck Marebear.

@151949 - my staple is the Oversized Polo shirt from Roaman's - color selection has dwindled in the past year or so.

What item # were you describing?

Thanks.

I wasn't talking about just one shirt but a whole collection they carry called perfect tees. Go to Woman Within. com and search perfect tees.

I get all of my basic clothes from LL Bean. Love classic clothes. I add a few "in" items to spice my wardrobe up, but LL Bean, Denim & Co., and some Issac make up my wardrobe.
