Hi Ladies.... it's been a while since I've visited this forum, but everyone has always given such great advice when I've needed it, and I need it now!

Me: Mid 30's, plus size, casual dresser, mostly wears jeans and long sleeved tees on the weekends this time of year.

I really don't know what my fashion problem is, if it is that I don't have the right clothes or if I don't know how to put them together. I think I have a ton of clothes.... lots of jeans (none of them are "perfect" though...), lots of cute tops, a few accessories (scarves and jackets). I guess I just feel frumpy when I wear them? I don't know, for instance I went out today for an outdoor food festival. I wore a nice pair of dark jeans, a dark gray 3/4 sleeve V-neck, a cute scarf with purples, blues, and silver.... And I didn't know what shoes to wear so I just wore my nice sneakers with silver. I think I looked really stupid. I think the problem was the shoes, I don't think sneakers "go" with a darker, more styled jean.

Can anyone help me with some ideas of what to wear for these chillier fall weekends? Maybe I need either a more dressed-down jean, or a more dressed-up shoe? Problem is, I have a problem with one of my feet and dressier shoes and boots become REALLY uncomfortable within like an hour. But I don't want to wear cruddy looking jeans just so they will go with my sneakers, and I don't think cruddy jeans look nice when your makeup is nicely done and you have nice jewelry on.

I think I need a Fashion Intervention!!! Stacey and Clinton, where are you?!?!?!?!?
