Absolutely not!  No bare feet in shoes no matter what the weather!

I don't want my shoes full of dead skin cells that rubbed off my feet.  Yuck!

Now that we're heading into winter, I will definitely wear socks if I'm out and about.  At home, I just put on my crocs, without socks, most of the time.  My feet aren't where I normally get cold anyway.

It varies.  With my girth growing I find that sometimes socks make indents in my ankles.

I wear a size 11 shoe.  It's hard to find socks where the ankles aren't tight.  Plus even in the Winter my ankles swell a tiny bit.

Also, honestly, I get nervous wearing anything other than my bare feet ever since March when I had on slippers with that fake wool stuff in them.

I was standing at the front door talking to a friend.  The door was slightly open and my ding dong cat (Bill) got ready to run outside.

I flipped out.  I tried to grab him and when I did my feet (slippers and all) came out from under me.

Instead of ending on my butt, I managed to push myself into the foyer steps.  I mean to tell you I went flying into those steps.

My head his the round part of the stair and my back hit another round part of the step.

I got knocked out for a few seconds and I actually broke my back.

My back Dr who I've been going to for years said,"How in the world did you break your back.  It's pretty hard to break your back".

I said "Not that hard because I actually broke it in 3 places when I was 18 in a car accident".

Anyway, totally off subject and I apologize.  My feet are cold today but I'm paranoid about putting anything on them.

Living in Northern Va where it does get cold I'm going to have to get over that fear, bite the bullet and put something on these huge feet.

I always am apologizing to Bill the cat for accidentally steping on his feet.

I say, "I'm sorry Bill but my feet are so big they take up a lot of space.  Since you can wrap your tail up, I strongly suggest you do that".  Ha!

I do not wear sox n the winter because I despise them.  I wear loafers 99 percent of the time.

I do not live in the frozen north either.

They don't need socks in a tv studio.

2 words.

No shows.

Many times that is what I put on my feet if it's cold but I don't want the look of wearing socks.  I do that a lot with a bootie or shootie and rolled up jeans.  Having socks on looks stupid but I can't wear certain shoes without them.

I just ran a quick errand, it's 30 degrees here.  Loafers and no socks.  I hope no one reported me to the fashion police.

I don't think I've purchased shoes since March. That's a lifetime record for me. I saw women in Nordstrom with masks trying on shoes barefooted and it scared the cwap out of me. Who knows where their feet have been?

I wear a lot of sandals.  When the weather gets colder, you can bet that if I am wearing closed shoes, I have socks on. I do not wear socks with sandals.

My feet rub and hurt if I wear shoes without socks against my bare feet.  I usually am in  my bare feet inside...all year around.

I have a brother in law that has never worn socks as long as I have known him....when he married my sister back in 1980 in a formal ceremony, he wore no socks.  He doesn't tie shoe strings either.  He lets them hang until they wear away at ground level.

Some people don't wear underwear either.  To each their own.

I can't wear most socks because the cuff really hurts the spider veins in my ankles.

I do wear compression socks sometimes but they're too hot under jeans.
