Hello there Run - sounds like total immersion in the media production class is the way to go. When I studied sound engineering in the 90's, theory was fine but nothing beats practical application in a studio.

Good morning, all. And congratulations, Cap and Snick! I am heading off to hospital, as dad has been there since Monday. The "pneumonia" we thought he had turned out to be radiation induced pneumonitis. He collapsed on Monday, went to ER, and has been at hospital since then. We are hoping to bring him home today after a two-day course of medication to reduce the inflammation in his lungs.

I returned the GILI backpacks and bought the Roma 2 in blush instead, and managed to finish up three bottles from my cosmetics stash. So I am not at all tempted by the things on this morning. I've got plenty of whatever they are selling today.

I don't even have any half and half at home, so I have to head out for morning coffee. Take care everyone.

Just arrived and trying to catch up. Congratulations, Snickster! How very blessed you are to have grandchildren AND great grandchildren!

I looked at the program guide last night and almost decided not to get up for the show, but then I remembered that I rarely look at the show when it's on anyway… it's our chat that I like most.

Congrats, cap, to your DD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She sounds like such a winner! I can empathize with mom feeling the stress for the kids...

Thank you, Bird, I am fine... how about you? Are you playing mommie nurse for the starling in the back? I never thought about our dear birds getting tossed by high winds... poor things! Don't they have little shelters (like holes in wood) where they can be safe?

Surfnsand - they periodically throw us with an all day gardening, jewelry or beauty event on a Saturday. It gets worse after Christmas in July
