Because they are part of their proprietary designs and not all styles work for everyone.

I get a funny scenario in my head when I think of vendors flying over to China and speaking to a foreigner about ie: inseam measurements. It goes like this:

"Hi, can you please make the inseam on this style measure 28""

Factory owner says "Sure!"

Factory owner thinks: "George and Sue have no idea how to measure in inches!"

It's nice you've found jeans you like.  That's not an easy task these days.  I used to love Lee but lately not so much.  I really can't stand all the size up size down speil these days.

Logo jeans are the best.  After I bought my first pair many many years ago, I'm just not interested in any other brand.

Ok, but Laurie Felt jeans fit me great and Talbot's jeans are cut too short for me.  If every manufacturer cuts on Talbots pattern, does that mean I won't ever have pants that fit?
