Sense of humor would have kicked in had it been funny.

 

Unfortunately, it was cringe-worthy.

 

(My "nose" quote was the least obnoxious part of it.)

They are dogs and cats on slippers, called "Wag Party" and "Quote Me Kitty, respectively"  The product alone begs silly smiles and corny humor.  What's wrong with that?  How else should they have sold them?

Selling them without the baby talk would have been a good start.  Grown women selling shoes in baby talk is ridiculous. 

 

I don't mind corny humor.

Dog and cat slippers are not going to be sold with sophisticated humor. The humor was compatible with the product and delivered with cheerfulness.
