I think Valerie looks great.  That color is great on her and it looks like she's lost some weight.

Eddie is her son's father, I see nothing wrong with him being included in the wedding symbolically. Many people do that at weddings, they don't just pretend the person never existed.

All three look lovely together.  Valerie is so happy.   

Nothing wrong about her missing a man she may have divorced but still loves.  Sometimes people just cannot stay together but the love between them remains.  I think it did for both Eddie and Valerie.
