When I look at something on line, I expect to be told whether it is a knit or a woven.  For example, in today's Lunchtime Specials, a Susan Graver pant is described as "Coastal Stretch".  When I open the Fabric Information tab, that fabric isn't even included.  Why can't you update that section, or at least include knit or woven in description?  I've even seen "woven knit" used as a description somewhere.  What the heck is that?

If it's Susan Graver, then it's a form of polyester.

@Magny@Yes, this makes me crazy. I like woven cotton nightwear and so many times there is no indication whether or not is is a knit, which I don't want.

The hosts are really bad about assuming that because they can see what it is, so can we.  I am sick of the rubbery, clingy Denim & Co. Knits.  Yet something else with the same fabric content will be fine.  Perfect Jersey is quite imperfect in my opinion.

@qbetzforreal  Not all of SG'S clothing is poly.  I have a number of cotton shirts.

Re: More precise fabric info...

A year ago I bought a shirt that was presented as a certain fabric blend. Once it arrived, I read on the tag that the fabric content was something different. On that particular shirt, it made no difference; on some (or to some peope) it may have been a dealbreaker. I don't fault the Q personalities for giving misinformation; they don't really have time to seek out the tag from inside the clothing. But the people behind the scenes ought to be very careful when writing the cards.  Since then, I usually go online to check out the fabric before making a purchase. I have caught a few inconsistencies.

I run into problems purchasing my leather items. I'll see something really nice and think it is real leather, only to read more carefully and find it is not. Also some items listed as 100% leather and I find later that they have fabric backs or side inserts. Buyer beware is a given, and ask questions if you need.

I notice that at least some  Halston & LCNY now specifically state "knit" or "woven" fabric.  Glad!

So true.  However, it would still be more service oriented toward us if instead of blathering about nothing or something unrelated to the garment, a few seconds were given to let the customer know the actual fabric used to make the garment.  Their cutesy trademarked fabric names are fine for marketing purposes, but for purchase information they mean absolutely nothing.
