Miss Joan very much too and also feel David is taking over with her fashions better than anyone else could. Melissa is great and I love her, but this is not where I think she would be very happy. David is the guy who worked right with Joan on her line, and I see him as the guy who can speak to us best. Hooray for David! I think Joan would be very proud of him.

I miss her vintage jewelry! She had some smart pieces. I've looked on ebay--but I already have the pieces I really like. Hope David and the originators can bring more.

I really miss her also and today Melissa posted that her and Coopers' dog passed away.

Multiple losses are so incredibly difficult. A very sad time for everyone.....

I feel so badly for Melissa and Cooper! So sad their dog is gone too~

This may sound strange to some, but she was a role model of what I wanted to be. She had a fabulous interest in soooo many things and you never heard her say she was tired or bored. She was EVERYWHERE !! She would fly in from somewhere on Monday night to be with Lisa and the next day she was flying to London for a few comedy shows. She could converse with EVERYONE from Queen Elizabeth or Prince Charles to TV celebrities ... She could get along with EVERYONE ... I miss her as you do Nanette ... every day ... Try as they might there is NO ONE to replace her ... Although I never knew her, she was a friend. No one can take her place.

Joan had a passion for her clothing and jewelry and I so enjoyed watching her on the Q. David is doing his best but we all miss Joan. RIP, Joan.

I think David is doing a good job and can't be easy for him either. I miss her on the shows but unfortunately life is too short.

It was sad...I ordered a JR scarf the other day on lunchtime specials. I watched the video presentation with Joan and sadly reflected that she is really gone.

I ordered that scarf too! Will think of Joan when I wear it.

Joan already had a heart issue and all that flying - London - PA - NYC - sitting for hours was NOT heart healthy. Let's keep things in prospective.
