Every so often, something from "my style" begins to trend ....  I'm a really big fan of foil prints/metallics.

I've had QVC on while prepping for dinner.  (Just me ... I'm making a slow-cooker "turkey pot pie."  The whole dinner in one pot ... with a side of Stove Top corn bread stuffing!  Salad and dessert.  Even cleaned up kitchen from prep!)

SG keeps mentioning metallics are trending ..

These foil prints have been around for quite a while now.  I'm a fan and whenever I see something that's my style, I buy it.  I have a bunch of turtlenecks, jackets, sweaters shoes and yarn* ... I'm ready!

* Funny thing ... a couple of years ago a metallic yarn was discontinued and I bought for really low price ... 40 skeins in various colors.

I do really like the fabric of SG's TSV ... but the style isn't "my" style.

Re: Metallic Fabrics

[ Edited ]

I saw the email, I didn't watch QVC yesterday.  There absolutely nothing new or trending about metallic foil fabrics.  Yes, I am a "sparkle" girl so I have a couple of tanks and a long sleeve tee in it.  I've had them for years.  Of course SG would say it's the newest thing and it's "red carpet" and all the other things, I assume she said but the reality is, there's nothing new about it at all.
