I know it looked kind of strange ,  couldn't figure it out.  I tuned in right at the end of the presentation . Maybe if saw it longer would have made sense.

I was wondering the same thing.  Earlier I saw her on Fashion Police and it looked like she had gained some weight (no criticism, just an observation) and so I'm thinking maybe covering the white blouse with the black band was more flattering to her figure.  That said, I've never seen this type of dressing before although Melissa has always been on the cutting edge of fashion.  

 

If Melissa sees this, I wish she would return to QVC with a silver jewelry line that she had briefly so many years ago.  I really liked her taste in jewelry.

It looks like Melissa has gained some weight.  You could tell on Fashion Police tonight.
