The photo just pulls at my heart.

I know the dress isn't for evreyone, but I love the simplicity of it and thought it was just perfect for her and for their wedding

I think the simplicity of the dress made her seem more vulnerable than if she'd worn a more traditional type dress.  And that makes the photo even more poignant to me.

It's a bittersweet photo.  Beautiful, understated dress. A 'Camelot' moment.   Each time I think about John-John, (and his wife and SIL), my heart feels broken.  It often seems unreal (to me).  RIP

The only really ugly wedding dress I have seen was worn by the Queen Mother. Thats not to say I like all  wedding dresses, but her's was a real clinker

It was the 1920's and  the cut was awful. It was all cut in one piece, and fit like a bag

I think they thought it looked medieval
