Anyone have good suggestions?  I've read all the bra measuring advice online but still seems difficult (for me anyway) to get the correct size.

I have to go by what the manufacturer suggests to do for measuring. Brands seem to differ in how to measure for their correct fit.

Try an Evelyn and Bobbie.  It molds to fit you.  Try one size down from your tee shirt size and give it three days.  Custom fit.

Nordstroms is outstanding for bra fittings, Dillards & Victorias Secret pale in comparison.

Go to a professional bra fitter if you really want the correct size.  I did, and I would never have guessed the right size on my own!

Well, my sister went to Nordstrom to get fitted.  They helped her find a bra that fit her correctly.  She was excited because she thought that meant she would be that same size in every bra brand and style.  Nope.  It was only for that particular bra she was fitted for.  There is so much variation in how bras are sized between brands and styles within a brand.  Personally, I find it exhausting having to try on twenty bras to find "the one".  It's ridiculous.

I went to three different stores to get fitted and they told me three different sizes. So, it really depends on where you go and what brand you try on. No universal way of sizing.

I agree with @SilleeMee and find that brands (and even some styles within a brand) have different ways for measurement.  I check each brand website to see how they calculate sizes and follow their chart.  I've had a different size determination each time I was professionally measured.  Trying on the particular bra is still the final "measurement" process for me.
