I never understand this sizing thing.  Who care what other women say when we all have tape measures and should be using the size charts?   They are boyfriend jeans so they are supposed to run relaxed.  If you buy your correct size (based on the your body), they will not fit like your regular jeans because they aren't supposed to.  There is supposed to be some room in them.  Why would anyone size down?  If you don't want that relaxed look in the jeans....that means bf jeans aren't for you.

@chrystaltree, the patchwork jeans aren't boyfriend jeans, they are skinny jeans so no, they shouldn't be a relaxed fit.  And some have said the click her measurements are inaccurate.

They look a little relaxed to me and they looked a little relaxed on Pat when I saw.  They didn't look like skinnies.  They looked like a slim cut to me.  I don't know how anyone can say the measurements are inaccurate unless they bought the jeans and tried them on.  At any rate, since we cannot try things through our tv screens, I think it's best to just let something pass if we have questions, concerns or doubts.  I listen to my inner voice and I am a realist, if I really, really wanted those jeans but had questions or reservations.....I wouldn't buy them.  I don't think talking myself into them or concerning myself with what women I don't know are saying would help me.  I do most of my shopping online with great success but when I have doubts, that's when I look for what I want in brick&mortar store so I can them on.

I'm thick around the middle and high/short waisted.  I was afraid regular 16 would be too small, but they fit me great.  Very comfortable.  So I would say they do run a bit big in the waist.  But they fit nicely in the legs.  So if you have a straight shape or are larger in the middle than in the seat/thighs, you will find a good fit.  If you are pear shaped, they might not work as well.  I love them, and my 13 year old thinks they are really cute.

Re: Martha Stewart patchwork jeans

I have my second pr of patchwork jeans on order. They fit like Isaacs do , on me. I have  found no differnce in her fit from  Joan's, Issac"s ,or Susans. They all fit me the same, and most of Martha's Jeans are skinny on me. I use the charts and it works for me.

They look relaxed on Pat because she is thicker in the middle and has to order accordingly.  Unfortunately, this can make the leg a bit wide on her, so she gets less of a skinny jean look.

If it were that simple we'd all be doing it.  The reviews are mixed on how the jeans run.  Why is someone asking for advice or recommendations so taxing on you?

Re: Martha Stewart patchwork jeans

Thought I'd drag this thread up again because my jeans just arrived yesterday and I wanted to tell you how they fit/run, in the event anyone is thinking about ordering.  (They were on Advance Order which is why this thread is kind of old.)

Anyway, they run very true to size based on the jeans I buy in B&M stores.  I can't base them on the wonky, odd-fitting Denim &Co. sizing because those jeans fit me so strangely it would be like comparing apples and oranges.  The waistline I was worried about fit me fine, and although the thighs are not as slim as they appeared on some of the hosts, they look slim enough to get by.  I really like them.  My suggestion would be to order true to size.

Re: Martha Stewart patchwork jeans

Got mine in both the grey and blue a couple days ago. Washed them and wore the grey ones today. They fit great, true to size. No bagging, sagging, stretching out etc. I am very pleased. They matched the garment sizing chart also, if this helps. Good quality, not paper thin.

Re: Martha Stewart patchwork jeans

I have a dilemma about the MS patchwork jeans I received yesterday.  I have not ordered jeans from QVC before so to play it safe I ordered a petite 4 and a petite 2.  I received a petite 4 and a petite 0. The jeans are now sold out.  I can zip up the 0 petites but if they shrink even a little I’m out of luck.  The size 4p are baggy in the legs and I don’t think are  flattering.  I’m trying to decide between sending them both back or hoping the smaller size will work out. They look like leggings on me.

Any suggestions?

@Ladyboomer I would wear the 0 and see how they fit throughout the day.  If you are happy with them after a days wear, then I think it’s safe to keep them - only washing in cold and hanging to dry, no dryer, to prevent shrinkage.  This is how I wash all my jeans.
