Review of Shibori dress!   I got it in black small.  Really like the print.  Like the pockets.  However....added about 20 lbs on me. In the hip area.  Can’t deal!  Back it goes.  I just ordered the Shibori box top in black. I can wear with fog ponte pants. Which I also received in med.  too big...I’m waiting on a small.  Nice pants, hang well. 

It’s terrible how I have to order when items pop in stock even if I think they will be too large.  I wanted the pants for an event.  I waitlisted Small, they are now on their way.  Sorry for the rant.

@Dawnie TY for the reviews  sorry to read about the sizing issues & I understand - recently returned Iman items due to sizing. 

Marla has a TS dress in May, maybe it will be better for you and more universally appealing/flattering. She must be busy bc she doesn't post as many sneak peeks on facebook

I ordered the Shibori kimono and sleeveless top - I blame HSN!  I was ordering those rose Bare Trap shoes and they wouldn't let me use the 20% off on that so naturally, I had to find something else to order with my coupon so I ordered the kimono!   Then the next day I decided to order the sleeveless top to match.  I am not sure about the sizing on these.  I guess the good thing is with Marla's line things are rarely too small!  I should get the kimono tomorrow.  I ordered the blue color.

I received the kimono in this color today.  It is very nice.  I sized down to a medium and the fit is good.  The cool thing is that it is reversible so it can also be worn as a solid blue.

I received this tunic and fog ponte small pants.  I really like this outfit!  Will wear with a pearl multi colored choker.  The pants are so nice I ordered another pair in black.

@Dawnie  That looks nice together.  I should get the sleeveless Shibori shirt tomorrow along with those 2 Iman tanks I got.  Today I wore one of Marla's midnight color tank along with the midgnight cropped ponte pants (full length on me - a wide leg pant.)  I wore them with a shirt, open like a jacket, that I already had.  It made for a nice outfit, but both are slightly large making me wonder if the next size down would look better.  So hard for me to determine the right sizes in this line.

I got this shirt today.  Even though I hate cap sleeves it is a cute top and will work with the kimono I bought.  A couple of things to note on this one since we haven't seen it live yet.  From the photos I couldn't tell if the pattern pieces were loose (just hanging down) or what, but they are sewn on to the fabric.  Also, the material without the print is sheer like one of her Layers tanks.  You can sort of tell from this picture.  So for myself I would have to wear another tank or cami under it.   

I have a tank from Marla from last year that I think was called blue then but I would call more of a slate color and it is a perfect match to the solid part of this top.  It is lighter but complimentary to the current midnight blue. 

For sizing I would ignore the "garment measurements" on this and go with your regular top size.  The garment size, at least across the bust seems way off  to me(measurements are represented as being much larger than the actual item.)  Fortunately, I had ordered this top comparing it with the black/white cap sleeve top I had ordered earlier so it fits me.  But according to their "garment measurements" I should have about 5 extra inches in the bust area and I might have like 1 inch.  

I did order this top in one size larger than I got the kimono.
