I'd really like to try the TS pants, but don't like sausage casings. I'm typically a size 8, but it looks like I'd have to go up a size (or even two!) if I don't want those pants to be skin tight in the legs. I can always take in the waist myself if I go up in size. Can anyone advise as to the fit? I had to return Iman's TS bootcut jeans a few weeks ago because that was a sausage casing down to below the knee! Don't want to have another return. :-(

I hate sausage casing legs.  My legs are shapely, not heavy.  My mother had and my sister has thin thighs and no butt. My sister and I mostly wear the same size.  When I ordered Flatter Fit pants, the legs were tight and the waist was big and above my natural waist.  My sister tried them on and they fit her but she didn't like the feel of the fabric.

I sew but  taking in the waist on these pants would not have been an option for me.  The waist was too big on my regular size.  To fit my thighs I would have to go up a size giving me an even bigger waist.

I cannot wear Iman or Diane Gilman pants either.

Can you imagine if she lobbed similar comments at the big girls?!

Apparently Bobbi will be 'blown away by a strong wind gust'...What if she said (laughing and smiling of course) that it would take a crane to pick up Emily if she fell down?

I typically say "much ado about nothing" when it comes to vendor making host comments.  THAT BEING SAID, I will have to say that I was a bit shocked at the comments Marla made towards BRC.  She was almost rude to BRC.  I heard about the strong wind gust, and it was said in a very "rude' manner. If I was Bobbi, I'd have been TICKED!!

And, no...I most always say that saying someone is too thin is NOT insulting.   In this case, the manner in which Marla stated her comments to someone as thin as BRC was insulting.  This is an exception to my "normal rule".  MOST women want to be called too thin, but Marla was rude in her tone!

I have watched a few times.  I don't care for the oversized look but she had a ottoman duster-type jacket on today that by the time I decided to order was sold out in my size in the teal.  She is a classy Logo-type.

@You sound similar to my shape @lulu2. I have muscular legs from years of sports and working out, small waist. Still, I hate the look of painted on pants (I don't wear leggings either). So I'm going to pass on these because they're just not styled to be as roomy as I would like on my legs and then the waist would be huge.

I know what you mean, because I have well developed calves too, plus a largish waist. I have tried & returned several pair of skinnies in my normal size 10, & finally tried a 12 when I found a good sale.  They're a bit loose, but they fit much better, & probably will shrink a bit eventually. Then I tried the boot cut in a 10 & that is the best. Only a slight flair, & looser calves.  A lot of work for a pair of pants.  Also, I'm not sold on the fabric, & want pockets.
