It's a special day JudyL. Where has all your fun gone? Are you only practical? Have fun, celebrate. Its susposed to be a once in a life occasion. Who cares about the dress. Have it dry cleaned. For all you know, it may be boxed and kept in the attic for years & years.

Sure they can.  I'm just thinking abut all of the weddings that I've been to.  Most of the time those photos are taken before the reception and I'm guessing (of course I could be wrong) that she will spend the rest of the wedding day filthy....but of course they can do what they wish it is their day.
