I can't do it, mainly because I am persnickety about "clean" footwear, and on something like this I would be disappointed with the first scuff/scratch.  I think the key is to keep them short, so they don't look like a costume.

Thanks Lola. These are good looking white boots. I'm just not sure how they might look good paired with an outfit (considering the climate in which I live). I too am very picky about shoes and if they aren't in excellent condition, they have no place in my closet!
