I just watched the video, and I loved it. He may not have had to call her out on it then, but I think he came to a boiling point with all of the stupid questions. She appeared to be quite shocked! If I really didn't know what "fair isle" meant, I certainly would not have asked him on air.

I'm surprised some posters, who are fans of those two hosts, are not calling Isaac a bully! Wink

It's gotten so bad any words not gushing, praising,or agreeing is considered bullying.

What Issac said was in jest. He even brought his best buddy into the conversation, which is Shawn.

I thought the only vocab required was:

yummy, "span", delish, amazing........you mean they need to know more than that?

Unfortunately they don't need to know much more....don't forget "oh,by the way","wait for it","Hamptons",and "Looove"(this must be sung).

Once Shawn was on with Isaac and he called something diaphonous and she didn't know what that meant. Lol

I liked Isaac's comment, but I loved the way Albany followed it with "What is it with you and these multi-syllabic words?" {#emotions_dlg.lol}

Fair Isle = 2 syllables

Wow!

I think he had finally reached a point where he said what was on his mind. These hosts are selling clothes, and they should have some training in terms that a clothing designer would use. And if Albany did not know what it meant, then graciously ask the meaning rather than accusing Isaac of using too big words for her poor widdle brain to handle. Seriously.

I know what FairIsle is, and so do a lot of women who are interested in clothes. The hosts who present jewelry seem to be pretty well versed in all sorts of gems, then why can't the hosts who sell clothing be acquainted with various clothing terms? Or is that too much for some of them to handle? Be careful Albany or you will be relegated to the fitness shows and food shows along with Dan Wheeler.

If I were him I would be pretty upset that someone who knows something about clothing and the English language couldn't be found to help sell his line. The poor man deserves better than what he has to put up with. How about someone that focuses on what he is selling rather than themselves? Clothing for adults maybe?

Sometimes I think Shawn knows more than she lets on, allowing him to be the guru. With Albany, I'm not so sure...

I watched the presentation and laughed out loud when he made the comment. I can see that some would think his comment was rude. Here's my take - act like a professional when you are working with Isaac and he won't have an opening to say something like that to you.

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

Sounds like Albany opened herself up for the criticism. She is the reason I started to not watch Qvc as much. Now I pretty much don't watch it at all

QVC should remove the video ...not a pleasant video to watch. Albany recovered very well but I can only imagine how embarrassed she was at the time.
I suspect that if Albany had merely said that she didn't recognize the term "Fair Isle," Isaac would have simply let it go and just explained it. But when she claimed that she was confused by the "multi-syllabic" words "thrown" at her, I think he felt he couldn't let it pass.
