I'm normally not a fan of Heidi's fashion choices but she is the best of the bunch here.  It's not a new or unique design though.  I also liked the white ball gown with the black sheer gloves.  The rest were hideous.

Can you try find a new world to describe women and their outfits?

HIDEOUS is the PERFECT description of MOST of these dresses.

No it's not @layla2450 .  It's just a word used here ad nauseum, as if you can't find a better descriptor.  There are words that mean the same thing if one cares to consider one.  It's like the chorus....word looks good in writing, so that's what I'll say: hideous.  It's pathetic.

Next time use the word horrendous!

Agree with @SandySparkles 's comment regarding scratching my head.   Most of the choices are odd considering they are beautiful women with figures and financial pockets that can wear most designs.  I'm sure they felt beautiful and had a great time, which is more important than my bewilderment.

See, now that's where I see a difference.  They ARE beautiful women with nice figures and they like to show them.  That goes together.  Not they have beautiful women and they should hide their bodies (though I've seen some who should not attempt to dress like this).  Clearly these women are celebrating being women with all they have to offer for display.  Beauty should be displayed (is likely what they are going for) @phoenixbrd .  At least that's what I think they are trying to say.  Then, these women are a lot younger than me in 2022.

Let's also take into consideration that we all have a right to our opinion and if those opinions are not sought and accepted, then it is best to just accept them and move on.  No two people are going to agree totally, all the time, on the same thing and some of us rarely agree on fashion.  That's just my opinion and I am sure most here won't like it but I am entitled to say it until I say something politically incorrect.

@Nonametodaythat's a given.  But we don't have to body shame.  We can speak to the fashion in such a way to not denigrade the women wearing said fashion.  One has nothing to do with the other.  This is high fashion I'm posting, not an invitation to bash the women and their physiques.  Big difference.  No one cares if you don't like the fashion.  I don't post only the things I like.  I post it all for viewing.  However, I will not woman shame.

I prefer HIDEOUS. Will still use when it fits the description of ugly, etc.

@pet sitter 4 u was simply providing some context for the event and the kinds of fashions chosen.

Yes, jon bon is correct.  You obviously understand and get it.  Thank you.  Others not so much.

Just for the record..... I "get it" and understand this is avant garde and fashion as art.  I've seen avant garde fashions that were absolutely beautiful and were art-like fashion pieces  but most everything here does not fall into that category for me.

Please, let's not be so condescending on here.  This is supposed to be a friendly place where we can disagree and still love one another. Try that on for the size that fits us all.

@CANDLEQUEEN  - Agree with you on her hair.  She's got the same everyday hairstyle.  If you're going to dress up, do a little something to your hair.
