Next time you place an order with Amazon, and we know you do order from Amazon, add a roll of Heatnbond Iron on hem tape to the order and shorten them yourself.

Surely you can sit at an ironing board for 5 minutes.

@CelticCrafter  Wow could you be any nastier. You have no idea about my abilities. I do not have an  ironing board, and I have used heat bond many times. At one point in my life I was an excellent crafter than age and arthritis set in

I enjoy the loungewear from Soma. Many items have a short length option.

Re: Looking for SOFT bottoms

These are all good suggestions. The only comment I would have is to be careful with thick tight waist bands, which may also cause you discomfort. I have stomach issues so even the softest fabrics aren't comfortable for me if they cut into that area.

For fall around the house, I own a lot of mukluks cloud knit, and I size up to avoid the tight waistband.  I also like cuddl duds fleece loungers for the house since no waistband to worry about.  And I agree about the packabelle bottoms. It is very light and flowy fabric and I haven't found the waist to be super tight.

I too don't have the $$ or desire to try barefoot dreams, but they do sell it as soft like a babies blanket.

I'm not sure what part of the country you live in, but in the cooler months I live in Cuddl Duds Fleecewear.  They are soft, warm and feather weight.
