@lolakimono

I love chenille! I’ve owned similar sweaters in the past but all of mine had full length sleeves, not full length plus 6 extra inches! It looks sloppy.

I’m not even thinking about sweaters yet. It is the middle of rainy season with temperatures still in the 90s here.

Not sure about 100% poly

I don't have an aversion to polyester but I prefer a blend.

And I don't care for a pullover, but would love to have a chenille cardigan.

Re: Looking for CHENILLE?

[ Edited ]

When we lived where it gets cold I always loved Chenile sweaters. For some reason they don't seem to make very many anymore. I will say - though they were washable - they didn't stand up to a lot of washing. After being washed several times they'd develop holes, and I'd wash on gentle/cold with woolite and hang dry them. I guess I'm kinda compulsive but if I wear something all day, I want to wash it before I wear it again. Anyway, here in Florida I only wear cotton sweaters as anything else is too hot for me.

@lolakimonoChenille is 100% cotton . . . and it's a lot more expensive than $26.40 (even on sale). I wouldn't touch polyester anything. This would be a FAST PASS.
ETA: To bad. The length is great. Finally getting away from tunic length!

That reminds me.

After my mom passed, I found a chenille cardigan in her closet, I kept it.

Stitches In Time, 100% acrylic.

I still wear it at home, it developed holes, also.

I'm a knitter and although I don't knit with chenille yarn, I've never heard a lot of complaining about the finished product developing holes.

Knitters aren't shy about their projects, good or bad.

The distinguishing factor for chenille is the way in which it is made. It's typically cotton but just because it's rayon or acrylic or poly doesn't preclude it from being chenille
