Re: Long, warm winter coat..

I bought a long puffer coat last Winter from Costco.com. Wow do I love that coat! I walk even during the winter months and this coat keeps me nice and toasty. The price was very reasonable too. Don't know if they still sell it. Maybe give them a look.

@Mom2Dogs

All of my winter coats are Nuage from QVC.  I love them.  The stretch really does make a difference.

I got my below the knee Nuage coat at the outlet a couple of years ago for $20.00!!!

No suggestions but brings back a memory from the 80s.  I had a long puffer coat and was walking my dog. Slipped on the ice and went down face forward.......no injuries, scratches or bruising.........saved by my puffer coat.

@cindyNC   Glad you didn't get hurt.  Sounds like it could have been a Seinfeld episode.  Woman Happy

I also vote for Land's End.  Have one of their puffer coats for a number of years.  Nice and warm.  Great for when walking the dogs.  Trying to justify buying another as Land's End has some great sales going on now.

I don't wear coats but I was checking out sales on Lands End and LL Bean and they have some.

@quilter61    I got a coat ordered from Lands End...the selection was not great, but I did get something I liked.  I have several knee length but I needed/wanted below the knee.

Now, I hope if fits!

I've always loved maxi winter coats because they keep your legs warm too. When the cold wind blows, a maxi can keep you toasty from neck to almost ankle. I wish they'd make more of them.

I dislike long coats. Makes it diifficult to drive. If I have a long coat on I will remove it before driving.
