I've said the same thing. I think it has more to do with the CEO being fired than anything else.

It might have played a part, but Lisa was the lead host before Watts was hired. To be sure, her role was enhanced to include 'Gili' while Watt was there, but Lisa was pretty much a prime-time fixture long before Watts came on the scene.

Personally, I think Lisa understandably grew weary of the role and with the QVC operation. While I believe that was her primary motivation, I wouldn't discount that the Q is possibly moving to restructure contracts. It doesn't seem as though things are going along all that swimmingly in West Chester these days. There have been more than a handful of vendor defections or contract expirations that weren't renewed and a seeming increasing reliance on both in-house brands and in-house staff, as they continue to narrow their focus down to near oblivion.

Ladies, what am I missing? I went to LRs FACEBOOK page, all I see are pictures of her, and comments about future shows. Did not see any comments about her leaving since the original statement. I still think she wanted more money, and QVC refused. Just my opinion, with the track record so far, all who left are doing infomercials . , remember Patti Reilly moving to LA to be a star, she does pillow spots. My question how many pictures a day does she take of herself....someone made a comment about a stepmother when did that happen? Thought her mother recently died.

Another company (any other company, not necessarily another shopping network) may have opposed that QVC trademark filing because it might have been similar to or the same as one of their trademarks. It may not even be in a similar product line, just the trademark symbol.

She has 2 FB pages now. Maybe you missed that part? And I am guessing the comments are taken from those posted under the pictures.... I personally didn't even have time to read those, so it's nice to see someone posting them here.

The OP stated that Lisa's statements were in response to two of her fan's questions. I would imagine you would have to search all their comments to find these responses. She did not post these as a 'status update' or whatever they call those main posts thingies.

It had nothing to do with another network. It was a B&M store who opposed the application and there was another opposition filed that would have been heard if this first opposer wouldn't have gotten the app. nullified.

I don't want to list the company because I'm afraid it will get this thread poofed.

I do not do FB--No it caused a ton of confusion gathering all my friends ALL 4 of them ,and we had a heck of a blitz- Anyone can read the front page of public post and at times even go deeper into. I do not go read her FB ..It comes here. Wishing her the best

Because the name GILI was to similar to the B&M store or the "product line" was similar?
