This is one of the saddest posts yet I have seen about Lisa's departure. Let me understand, please:

1. Lisa posted on her new FB page (that you either went to, or like) about leaving and you are now mocking her? Not her QVC page. Don't go there if you don't like her. And certainly don't use it to bash her here now on the QVC page. Let the woman have a life and leave it alone.

2. You are guessing she chose to announce it early. She has been with the company for 20 years. She, or someone decided exactly two months was the right amount of time to say goodbye. Two months notice is nothing when you have been with a company for that long and want to go out gracefully. She has shows planned including a TSV coming. She is their top earner and I suspect they are not in a rush to alienate those of us who do like her. If they wanted her gone now she would be gone, escorted out the door like other hosts they have fired. Get a clue.

3. My hunch is also that she can't market her new page while still at QVC--but others can (as Leslie did) so who cares if she posts the link directly. Whatever, if QVC told her to take it down, oh well.

STOP bringing other women down and being a MEAN girl. Support other women or don't say anything at all if you don't like her, or any other host. What is the point?

I totally agree. I have a question. Why do these immature women watch her shows, stalk her Facebook, and read the forum posts if they have such a dislike?? And what in the world are they going to do when Lisa is gone?! They might actually have to get a life!!

Agree with both of you! Never will understand why women who so loudly dislike Lisa continue to watch and post about her?? WOW!

I like Lisa, and will miss her. Announcing her departure 2 or 3 months prior to leaving is quite normal for someone that is on television. Yes, I know it is a home shopping show but she still has a contract, she does have a fan base, and programming needs to be changed to prepare for her departure. For those reasons, she couldn't just give two weeks notice and puff, be gone.

I have been avoiding even watching QVC, because I am afraid they will mention Lisa's leaving, AGAIN! Time to move on-best of luck, Lisa.....

I love Lisa and things she's beautiful on the outside for sure, and I would think by all the people who like her she's beautiful on the inside too. She said "absolutely" so many times on her last night I thought my head would explode. It was absolutely ridiculous. I absolutely wish her all the luck in the world.

I think Lisa had been thinking of leaving, but something she did not like happened behind the corporate scene, so she hastily resigned. I think the black is in support of Lisa in whatever went on behind the scenes. Black mourning would not be the color selected by staff that was happy for her the whole way through. It shows their support of her in the situation. Something happened to trigger Lisa's decision. She had been discussing her other options long before this, though.
