When you leave any job, it's best to give your boss the required notice in your contract and then go....I think Lisa and QVC in hindsight will agree that announcing her departure so early was not a good decision.

Me thinks that Lisa was hoping for a better position with all the shake up going on.

I feel she wanted more than she was getting so decided to move on. she has plenty of contacts now and can find something different to do.

I agree that Lisa owed QVC a certain period of notice that she planned to leave. I do not think that she owed the same period of notice to QVC viewers. I think that she announced her departure so far in advance so that she could get as much attention as possible. I think that is disrespful of other hosts who do the same job she does, some of whom do a better job than she does on a daily basis. I am personally very tired of the same old stale descriptions she provides for the products she presents.

I hope that Lisa is moving into a wonderful new opportunity. I have nothing against her. I think she is an intelligent woman who desperately needs a new challenge to bring back the same spark that she originally brought to QVC. I really enjoyed her early in her QVC career. She has seemed bored with her job for quite some time.

I wish her all the best in her new career. Just sorry that I will need to hear about her departure during every show she hosts between now and December 12th. She truly isn't all that important to the future success of QVC in my opinion. I might actually order more products during the shows she has previouly presented now she will no longer be a host.

well in my humble opinion,i think that shes either going to work for thst perv basso or for the joan rivers comp.she and her 'madison ave'. I THINK THATS SHE WANT TO BE WITH THE IN CROUD.she has got to be the most self-centered person on t.v.sometimes i watch her shows just to see the products,not her.wish her good luck and goodby.but thats just me
