Lisa herself is the one who said the crew dressed in black because they are in "mourning" over her departure. Nothing to do with her preference for black clothing.

As someone else said, Lisa's post was a humble brag. I agree with that. She truly thinks extremely high of herself. Proof being all the things she posts about on FB and endless pics to get praise.

OMG, take me out to the woodshed and whup my hiney... I clearly don't know what I'm talking about... AND what she actually said, having just checked, is NOT that she said they were in mourning, but that THEY said they were in mourning...

A humble brag... a not so humble brag... something to fill up space... who knows, really, and anyone who really cares that much probably needs something better to do... No idea how high, or even how highly... she thinks of herself... since I would assume those with FB pages do tend to post on them and often include pictures of themselves...

Do you think that Lisa runs QVC and can just walk on air and announce she is leaving? Nothing is decided by the hosts. QVC' management controls everything even telling her or any other host when to announce when they are leaving, unless they have been given the pink slip. This is not something she just decided to announce on her own. C'mon ladies lets get real here and why not stop with all these posts blaming Lisa that she gave a 2 month notice.

Seriously... the announcement was clearly produced and management knew precisely what was going on... Anyone who thinks that any host has the authority to commandeer the camera operators and fly solo using QVC airtime is just plain looking for things to gripe about... If management hadn't sanctioned the two month notice it wouldn't have happened and had Lisa taken it upon herself to defy them she'd have been gone well before two months. As others have said, Lisa is savvy and she's not about to burn any bridges.

Oh please, this has nothing to do with death. It seems a 'tongue in cheek' statement of their regard for her that they did it and that she then mentioned it. What she actually said was that she was truly touched to have earned the respect of a group that she respects so much... Any kudos being tossed out there were from her to them, but of course people see what they want to see... especially where Lisa is concerned.

That is exactly what it was. The crew members, hosts and models spend more time with each other then they do their families and are quite close.

OP, I thought that you said that they removed Lisa's fb post telling people about her new fb page? Its funny I found it and others posters have also. There where several comments made yesterday in the post Lisa made.

It is not showing up anywhere on Lisa's QVC FB page that I can see. It was posted on 10/12 and it's not there. Did you find this on her page or did someone post a link that they copied and pasted?

This is one of the saddest posts yet I have seen about Lisa's departure. Let me understand, please:

1. Lisa posted on her new FB page (that you either went to, or like) about leaving and you are now mocking her? Not her QVC page. Don't go there if you don't like her. And certainly don't use it to bash her here now on the QVC page. Let the woman have a life and leave it alone.

2. You are guessing she chose to announce it early. She has been with the company for 20 years. She, or someone decided exactly two months was the right amount of time to say goodbye. Two months notice is nothing when you have been with a company for that long and want to go out gracefully. She has shows planned including a TSV coming. She is their top earner and I suspect they are not in a rush to alienate those of us who do like her. If they wanted her gone now she would be gone, escorted out the door like other hosts they have fired. Get a clue.

3. My hunch is also that she can't market her new page while still at QVC--but others can (as Leslie did) so who cares if she posts the link directly. Whatever, if QVC told her to take it down, oh well.

STOP bringing other women down and being a MEAN girl. Support other women or don't say anything at all if you don't like her, or any other host. What is the point?

You are my kind of friend, if we support each other instead of being mean and disrespectful all the time, life would be better for all of us.
