@Stray   But SG os on ever-so-much-more-frequently

@Pearlee well, that's true but LR is just unbearable to me...I can tolerate SG in small doses.

I don't care for her or her clothes or her outrageous prices.  I won't say designs because theres no way she is a designer.  She's a loud mouthed celebrity who doesn't even know everything about her clothing line.  I am so tired of seeing the direction the Q is going in.   Celebrities, models presenting their items, because I'm sure they need the money, trying to make the public think they are designing these clothes, when we know they make their trips to China and have their names slapped on whatever they pick out.  I believe that many must go to the same companies in China because I've seen the same exact items on the Q and also on HSN.

They are are flooding the channel with outrageously priced items from Logo, Gili, Lisa Rinna, etc. and then want to phase out "true designers" previously Louis del 'olio and now maybe George Simonton!  They phased out many true designers over the years like Mark Bauer and others who I can't recall right now. (I'm having a senior moment).  My days with the Q are dwindling but I just have to watch Isaac Mizrahi, love him and his designs.  Other than him, to me, it's just not worth watching these fad celebrity clothes.

I agree....IM still has good quality.  His are the only clothing items I buy.....I like the flowered/design  sweaters but don't go overboard and he features many solids.  Some say he doesn't do his designs or know his garments but I find that to be untrue and he is very knowledgeable about textiles and history of design as is George Simington, who I hope has not parted ways with QVC.

Lisa's style of clothing doesn't really work for my shape or my lifestyle, so I've never purchased any.  I enjoy watching her shows...at least for a while.  Her enthusiasm reminds me very much of Susan Graver, as other posters have mentioned.  Their happy eagerness is refreshing for a while, but then, it just seems to become a bit DESPERATE, as if they're not going to make their mortgage payment that month if they don't sell at least 10,000 units of clothing on QVC.  When they start acting desperate to make sales it makes me feel uncomfortable and I turn the channel.

Re: Lisa Rinna!

[ Edited ]

Riffing off of @cerb, I agree that some vendors can strike you as entertaining, then there can be a tipping point into irritation. I suspect that is more about my mood than it is about them.  Susan Graver is pretty much the same whenever she is on.  Sometimes I find her exuberant. Other days when she and the host are talking at the same time, my brain explodes.

Maybe Lisa Rinna is a Rorschach test of my day!

I can't speak to the quality or sizing of Lisa's line because I don't own anything, however, she recently was selling a vest that I really like, but I own something similar so don't feel the need for another at this time.

I do feel she is an extreme hard sell and that turns me off.  Like @cerb stated she appears desperate and all that frenetic bouncing around is anxiety creating (to me).

I used to really like her.  I've changed my mind a bit.  She was slightly rude on the Housewives show and I saw a completely different side of her

I also agree with your comment about her "extreme hard sell".  It's just too much lately.  She's a bit manic.  I still think she's adorable, but I'm not as big of a fan of hers as I was a year or two ago.

She wouldn't be caught dead in most of what she's been bringing more recently to QVC.

I do own some of her items, and I like them.  That being said, I haven't liked any of her more recent tops or sweaters.

I have only purchased two of her items - a moto jacket and recently her duster coat both are good quality and I enjoy them.  However her tops are so oversized and she is now so manic on her shows and never ever mentions sizing just pretending to be a model I now cannot watch any more -  worse than SG at least Susan designs her clothes.  I just wish more of these fashion shows were pleasanter and more informative to watch seems to be a trend now that everyone wants to be the star or the model.  Not for me anymore.

I think LR makes SG look calm.  One thing about SG, she knows every detail about her garments, has knowledge about the history of fashion and can name every stitch and detail.  She can irritate me but LR is unwatchable.  She is loud and manic and just another celebrity of mediocre fame sticking her name on a label with no concern for quality or value.
