Linea Anorak: Anyone having Sizing Issues?

Hi, gals. Love this Anorak...a real "lifetime" piece...that's why I need to get the sizing right. I ordered a Large and I thought I'd have room...fits square on the shoulders but the bottom/hip was not roomy enough. So I ordered the XL and it is big all over with the shoulders dropping down a bit and lots and lots of room in the hips....seems like a big "jump" between the Large and the XL and I'm worried that the XL is too big. Not sure what to do. I just watched the video again and Jac's shoulders are also dropping down. Anyone else struggling with the sizing on this?
