I have the Lapis blue trousers, they need about 1.5 inches hemmed. Should I launder them first to see if the length would shrink? They probably don't shrink, but thought I should ask anyway. TIA

I would launder and then see how they look before hemming, just in case.

I would. I wash everything before I wear it.

Always, always clean things the way you'll normally be cleaning them, laundry or dry clean, before hemming. That's the best way to avoid an unpleasant surprise later. At 5'2", I'm VERY experienced on the topic of hemming, lol.

Depends on the fabric. Polyester won't shrink but cotton and rayon will. If in doubt, wash the garment first.
