The Ponte pants are great, only bad news is I will have to have them hemmed. They are quite long for a regular pant. I do love the way they look and feel though - and I was afraid to order my first pair of Linea pants!

The jacket - doesn't quite look like this on me. In fact it looks rather dumpy. Seems to be an excess of material in the armpit area. The sleeve, shoulder and bust fit is great. The colors and fabric are gorgeous, but something just doesn't look right. I'll have to think about it for a couple of days.

Has anyone else ordered this jacket? I was hoping to love it and order it in violet also.

I have that jacket in Sienna and had to size down to an XS which is a full size smaller than my usual Linea jacket order. I think others also had fit issues as there seemed to have been returns.

I have this jacket, got it recently in violet, and there does seem to be excessive fabric in the armpit area for me too. Otherwise it looks nice but I am planning on wearing it as an outerwear jacket as it is very loose-fitting in my normal size.

I couldn't say no to the fabric, so gorgeous. You could check out a tailor and see if it could be taken in for you perhaps, but if you don't LOVE it, don't keep it as there are many new things coming that are beautiful.

I also wear mine as outerwear, often with a bulkier sweater underneath. An/or with one of my alpaca capes over it. The fabric is a quite expensive one and was also bought by a chain of boutiques. The jacket there was several times the price of Louis's!

Yes, the fabric in this jacket is exquisite. I love it as outerwear, it's elegant casual. Try it like that and see what you think - a chunkier sweater, jeans, boots. It really is special and for me, the extra roominess works fine then. The color melange is superb.

I own this jacket in the sienna and violet. This is a beautiful and very special fabric. Every single time I have worn them people always say what a pretty fabric it is. I think they are worth every penny and more.

I have this in the raspberry and the violet. I wear the violet with the gray PK pants. The raspberry looks very nice with the raspberry funnel WK sweater below it. I didn't notice the extra fabric under the arms in the fitted Small.

I had it draped over the sofa airing out from the bit of plastic bag smell overnight. I got up this morning in my pajamas, and this beautiful fabric was calling out to me. I've got to find a way to make it work. I put it on over my PJ's and it feels so luxurious, the colors are so beautiful, and that raspberry lining is stunning.

I think what also bulks it up is the pockets right over the hip area. Well, thanks for being a sounding board as I go through my analysis paralysis!

I wear the raspberry with either the PK raspberry dress from a few years back or the berry Feather jersey pants or black pants.
