Utility jackets are normally of a thick material which means they are suitable for very cool to cold weather.  Lace sleeves would not be compatible with that weather so I am not going to give it up a thumbs up but it is certainly cute enough to get my attention.  So, I will not give it a thumbs down either.  Some parts of the country have different weather and people tolerate or not their own conditions in their area so, suffice it to say, to each his own here.

I purged a jacket last summer that was very similar to the one in the pic. I think it was an INC? Although I liked the style, I rarely wore it out here on the west coast due to our weather. The torso part was rather heavy, and the sleeves were the open lace, so I found it to be too cold for chilly weather and too hot for warm weather.

I love everything about it, including the color!  Combining the lace with the utility aspect of the jacket is just my cup of tea.... !

It makes the item more feminine and prettier. I doubt that many women use the jacket for "work" anyway.

I love it but don't wear jackets that short.
