queendiva - thanks for the tip! I actually have some and forgot about them! I cannot get over how well these pants fit. I have one hip slightly higher than the other and it is really obvious in this petite length. However, the generous hem should allow me to let out the hem on one leg slightly. For you ladies who are on waitlist - 2 pairs of petite in size 12 will be on their way back unopened!

I find them to be really itchy! Almost like when I wear wool. They are beautiful pants and fit really well. I am glad I took a chance. I will have to try them on again a few times to see if the itchiness subsides.

I received the black linen suit yesterday as well, and also found the fabric a bit scratchy. I am not hypersensitive to wool, and had no issue with the herringbone suits; I hope that sensation will subside, as this is a beautiful suit. Another factor is that I tried them on without hose, but generally do wear hosiery, so that may help as well. I am tall, and will have my tailor "lengthen maximum!" which always does the trick (though I was very happy that I don't have to lengthen the aqua and pewter trousers at all).

When choosing a size, I went completely by the "click here" measurements, and they fit like a dream. I especially like the way the jacket is constructed.

My jacket and trousers finally arrived and WOWZA!!! Just love this suit and will also wear then as separates.

I still have the off-white linen TSV from several years ago, the one with the black embroidery and pleated grosgrain linen trim. Also the linen crops pants in both black and off-white. All these pieces are interchangeable and I have lots of options here. Also got the black/white print pants which I LOVE with the jacket!

I'm sure I have many more ways to wear these separates. It will be fun to see which ways!

Linen usually softens up with wear, so those of you with sensitivities will likely not be bothered after a while. It's not a problem for me.

So glad you loved your suit, and that embroidered jacket will be perfect with it. You always give great advice and are a great "ambassador" for Louis and his lovely designs -- Thanks!

I've been unpacking all my spring/summer clothes and have been putting aside linen pieces to mix and match with my new arrivals. There is another linen jacket that looks great with the black--A199857. I wear it with just a cami underneath, but it's good as jacket, too.

I also have it in the beige/taupe color and will check that against the twig when I get to that box.

I have a terrible time with pants and rarely order online. I took a chance on these and ordered in 2 sizes. Only tried on one and did not even open the other package for comparison. Not sure if they will wrinkle (seems like they will as just bending down to straighten them left wrinkles at the thigh) and I was not paying attention to the dry clean only. But I find them to be really itchy! Almost like when I wear wool. They are beautiful pants and fit really well. I am glad I took a chance. I have several Linea pieces that I wore constantly to work, but retired some months ago, so don't enjoy them as I used to. Reading these responses has me actually missing them!

With regard to the linen pants, I probably would have ordered them (missed the show), as I completely wore out my beige linen pants I got some years ago from Sak's. Seems I'm one of those people that really needs linen for summer. However, your comment about "itchy" is disconcerting. That's really off-putting and makes me wonder about the quality of the linen. I'd probably send them back for an exchange. Could be the bolt of linen they were made from was inferior.

Good luck!

Thanks for your kind words, QBH. I like the B/W linen even better with the A199793 skirt and matching top from quite a while back. My Linea just keeps going and going!

I received my blue linen blend jacket today. Love it!. I also got the blue print blouse and the lapis tank. All wonderful. Plan to wear with white jeans this summer.

The "click here" measurements let me down last week (another label) but so far, I have found the Louis "click here" measurements to be spot on...even the two WK sleeveless tops I bought although someone issued a warning about how they differed from the click here measurements. The dress measurements were spot on too. I love that dress, will write a review shortly. --- I LOVE this linen blend too. I really don't think I would consider the pants but the jacket is fab. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

So glad that these pieces work for many. I ordered many pieces this time around but short on luck with the linen pieces and the solid color pants; all way too big. Admittedly I'm a small person, and got the xxs jacket, 2P in the linen pants and a 2 in the solid pants but I just swim in them all. Got the print crop pants and they are a better fit. Striped tank, "sheer" sleeve top and denim vests are a good fit. I will need to look for Louis' slim cut/leg pants from now on.
