@MaggieMack  WOW, MM, I can't believe how fast you got that!

I'm so glad you like it - that's great.  If I were 5'7" I'd order one too, probably the blue.

Do you think it's at all snug around the hips when you wear it closed?  I was concerned about that (if I was ordering it) and so was the poster above me who descrfibed herself as pear shaped (as am I).

@Pearlee, I am the opposite of a pear, built like a Y, larger on top than bottom (35" hips), no stomach to speak of. It didn't cling to my backside or hips, but there wasn't a lot of room to spare either. I think most will find that their usual LDO size will be fine.

The hooded dress is A267869

Thank you, @Pearlee.  I may go for the blue.  I'd like it with tights and ankle boots.

Re: LOGO SHOW - 8/31

[ Edited ]

@MaggieMack  MM, I couldn't find the right LOGO thread where we discussed this (I even looked for it) so I'm posting under the most recent LOGO show thread.

Remember that Lavish shell that you didn't order because it was sleeveless? And neither did I because it was too short IMO?  It's sold out now but got one review - a rave.

Thought you'd be interested in reading it:

A265597

Also --- reminder to LOGO lovers, no LOGO show tonight.

@Pearlee, thanks for this reference! I've been out of town for a week, purposely disconnected from technology, but back reading and posting today. It was kind of strange being off the grid, but a good choice. I'm sure I will be participating on the AM Stylers thread in the morning. See u there!

@MaggieMack  LOL  - there was only one review of that top when I posted to you, but now there are more and they are not rave reviews by any means.  Goes to should one should never be influenced by just one review!

I noticed you were MIA from the board, MM.  Glad to have you back.

I don't participate in the A.M. Style thread though.l

@Pearlee@, why don't you join us??? All are welcome, and if you ever need a good giggle on a Saturday morning, @Bird mama will surely make it happen!

I did see the recent reviews of that top, mostly complaints about it running small. Our sizes still sold out. And being sleeveless, still a deal killer. But still cute!

@MaggieMack  Thanks for the invitation, MM, but I don't watch AM Style any more.  I rarely watch any clothes shows any more except QF and LOGO (talk about two opposite styles!).

@ROMARY   I thought I was going to like the berry the best, but when I watched the video I liked the blue the best.  Go for it!

I like both the berry and the blue, but grey would have pushed me over the fence!

@vac@Pearlee@ROMARY, well . . . I received the olivine hoodie dress today, pink will arrive tomorrow. I love it! The fabric is wonderful. I went with the XXS so I can wear it as a dress that fits my body, 5'7" 120#, and it is perfect. So flattering, hits me just above the knees. I tried it on as a dress and as a topper over another layer and can wear it that way, too. The olivine is interesting, sort of a yellowish cast to it, I wish it was a little cooler so I could wear my Nordies olive green boots with it, but I don't think the warm/cool look that good together. Oh, well, I have plenty of black boots that will look fine. It reminds me of a couple dresses that I have purchased at Athleta for a WHOLE lot more! Zipper is great, double, as are the cute little zipper pulls. Very happy with this purchase.

@MaggieMack I finally ordered this in berry.  My very first LDO piece. Is it a blue red?

@islandgrrl, good for you! I would definitely say it was on the blue side. The warmer tones usually suit my coloring better, but this goes great with fair and blonde. If I was to name the color, I would have called it cranberry, def more toward the reds than pinks.

Did u see the best part of our thread got poofed last night? I think "someone" must have reported it as inappropriate. Hardly inappropriate!!!

@MaggieMack

I received the berry Linea dress and really (really) like it.  I can see getting lots of use from it this fall and winter.  You are spot on about the color.  Cranberry is the best color description.  The overall quality is great so I am very pleased.  Generally speaking Linea is a bit conservative for my lifestyle so I tend not to follow the shows.  I'm very glad I stumbled across this.

Yes, saw that part of the thread was poofed.  I really appreciate that the moderators are trying to keep things down to a dull roar but am always surprised when name calling is permitted but gentle truth telling is zapped.  Anyhoo ~ no harm, no foul.  I would rather things be poofed than allow a mean-spirited feeding frenzy.
