It is called supply and demand. As long as people keep buying, the prices will continue to go up. There is no reason to decrease the price when people are willing to pay these crazy prices.

I like most of the Logo pieces, but sometimes I do not like the fabric either.  And....the prices are getting higher and higher.  This morning, they presented a top for $77.00.

All of them do this not just Logo... Susan Graver is known for her "liquid knit"!

BTW Logo is offering a TSV top for $40.00 that's cotton/model on the 18th.

As someone else said, you have to look at the design/shape of her garments and what she is doing.  Different fabrics drape differently and some won't work for her designs.

A number of years ago, I bought a top from Evine that had a sort of ruffled layer at the bottom that should have flowed and draped.  However, the fabric they used was a woven 100% cotton.  The bottom tier of the top stuck out from the body because the wrong fabric was used.  I had to send the top back.

In "fashion,"  I believe the term "fabrication" is the word used in regard to the various combinations of fibers that are combined to create the particular "fabric" that is used to make the garment.

The fabric may be a matte jersey, but the fabrication can be poly, rayon, spandex or any other fiber combo.

The fabric may be velvet - but velvet can be any combination of fibers (or any fabrication).

An online dictonary definition of "fabrication" ..

Manufacturing process in which an item is made (fabricated) from raw or semi-finished materials instead of being assembled from ready-made components or parts
