Re: L Rinna's presentation just now

@dosey

I am so happy that you are happy with your new vest.  Sorry that I forgot to say that in my other post :-)

When you say typical woven polyester, is it lightweight like a blouse or heavier?  I tend to generate or draw static electricity and I sure wouldn't want to layer this over something that it clings to.  No way do I have the confidence to wear it alone, like a top (lol).

I am also 5'10 - so you think the front length is marginal given our height?

Honestly, after getting burned by the SG jacket, I'm a little nervous about ordering another piece of clothing from the Q.

I'm sorry about the delay in responding.

After trying it on, again, with different pants, the length is fine.  From my navel to the hem is 5".

I am terrible at describing fabric but will give it a try.  It is very lightweight.  This morning, I noticed that the front panels are just slightly heavier.  That is because the back side of the fabric is different than the rest of the fabric.  It looks like a very thin lining has been bonded to the fabric.  It is done well and adds just enough weight to the fabric to give it the nice drape, but it is still lightweight.  When I look at the fabric very closely, I can see the weave.  I can barely feel the weave, too.  It is not silky, but it is not rough, either.  Last month, I bought a poly top from Dillards and receive a lot of compliments on it.  The fabric is exacly the same.  It is a nice poly.  I do wish washing it had removed the fold lines.  I am going to have to iron it.

I, too, am a magnet for static electricity but hope spraying Static Guard will keep it away.  Here's a funny story for you.  I bought the cutest top that I loved.  It was perfect, or so I thought.  This top was poly. and I was snapped like never before.  When I was pushing the cart in the grocery store, it would zap me every few feet.  When I touched the frozen foods doors, I thought I was being electrocuted.  I threw it away.  No top, no matter how cute, is worth that kind of torture!

Paws and enjoy life.

I live with two sparrows and one pigeon.  I worry about static electricity because the way I generate it, I think I could zap my sparrows into the hereafter (lol).

Oh, gosh!  No clothing is worth the risk.
