That's exactly what my husband said about the mall rents, but wouldn't there be more people in there if they didn't charge $200 for a lightweight jacket, but instead offered at least a few deals? What do I know? I'm not a merchandiser.....just seems like I don't have a reason to even go there again when I can shop on line. My hubby also pointed out that I can't try on stuff on line, but with Bean, I don't have to. Their sizes are fairly consistent. 

Maybe they are planning a grand opening. I hope so.

I doubt it...I went to the Freeport Maine, home office "store", and there were NO sales--only rock bottom icky clearance items!  They rarely have good sales..I wouldn't wait too long on the sales, LOL.

Lucky you!  My husband's wardrobe is LLBean , and I buy  for myself as well.

The quality of their clothing is wonderful.  We are expecting an order tomorrow

in fact.  Their tee shirts, pants, jackets, EVERYTHING. 

I agree with another poster:  in time, and maybe for their GRAND OPENING they

will offer sales.  Also, don't forget the dollars off coupons.  If you buy, they come

in $10 increments and are very helpful in the long run.

Here in CA I doubt we will get a store, but you are very fortunate to have one

nearby.
