L👀K ARAN CRAFTS NEW PEANUT COLOR SWATCH!

I noticed a new waitlisted color "peanut" without a swatch for A679663. CS had no info so I contacted Aran Craft for assistance. It's described as a light brown and looks just beautiful on my screen. What are your thoughts?

Here's where I saw this new color choice, which again, is currently waitlisted.

A251981 has the model wearing the peanut color and also has a video where it's shown if that's helpful. I think it's a beautiful color!

I'd suggest checking out A251981 to compare. It looks much lighter than the swatch.

How so very kind and thoughtful of you to share this info in your very first post in the forums. Thank you so very much and WELCOME to the community!

I watched the video twice and absolutely love the peanut color. It looks like a cool toned shade and the vendor mentioned "stone" and "toast" while describing it. The sweater in the video too is quite pretty as well. All those gorgeous knitted patterns with their significant meanings makes these sweaters so interesting as well.

Well I'm excited and hope my waitlisted A679663 comes in stock soon!

Thank you. I did look at the video and do like the color. Aran Craft CS said it's a light brown and was true to color on their screen and hoped it'd be the same on mine. Of course posting my screen shot leaves possible color variables. I am partially colorblind and need help with some tones but, as long as this peanut shade does not skew yellow I'm good.

I see two very different colors for "Peanut" but they're both beautiful. You won't go wrong with it. Seems to be a nice neutral.

I know a all shades of brown are popular but I'm not a fan of light brown. I like a deep rich chocolate brown and the swatch posted looks dark to me. It doesn't look light.

I would be disappointed if I purchased the sweater thinking I was getting that swatch color but then it looked a lot different in person.

I hope I won't be disappointed with this peanut color. Unless other videos or info becomes available I'll just have to wait. In the picture that @just bee posted for A251981, the color looks different than the video too. Plus I was reading the reviews and saw this pic. Each example, including my swatch is different.

Then again, I heard Jane mention "darker taupe" as the colors were being shown (in video) So theres that too. Sometimes I wish the presentation would slow it down a wee bit more when showing new color intros. Unless it's some otherwise ghastly color of brown, I'm okay with all of the different shades shared so far. 🤔🙄🙃
