Kind of OT, but what does this message mean?

I went to my notifications and clicked on one that I hadn't yet seen and received the message above. I think the thread may have been in the fashion forum (which is why I posted here.) I can't find the thread; does that mean it's gone? Don't they usually just lock them? And don't they remove your notifications if they close a thread?

Just wondering if I am having technical trouble...

That message means you've wandered into Mods territory, and it will only let you back out, not go forward.

@faeriemoon I got the same message a little while ago today. I got a heart notification and when I clicked it, I got that message. I think (not sure) it means that thread was poofed for editing, or just poofed.

ETA - the notification was for the thread about getting "THE LETTER" lol.

Yup; that's the thread. Clicked on a "heart" notification to see which comment had been "hearted" (I had posted several times on the thread so I wasn't sure which one), and that message came up.

Thanks; I thought the thread must have been closed, but usually all the notifications associated with the thread disappear too.

@faeriemoon. I’ve noticed that some thread are entirely poofed and disappear all together. Some just have posts deleted and some threads are closed but still remain.

@proudlyfromNJ Yes! And unless I'm looking in the wrong forum, the one in question has been poofed entirely. Not sure why, unless it got worse since the last time I checked in. The OP was getting kind of defensive.
