Kim Gravel sizing

[ Edited ]

Has anyone else noticed Kim's tops running really large lately?  Her tops have always been somewhat large on me especially because I really need a petite size.  But I bought the Portofino Poncho in a small recently and it's positively enormous.  I generrally wear a med or small.  I liked the Bellisima Mykonos Mamma Embroidered Top last night but the reviews say how it runs so large.  I also liked the Slub Knit Smocked Sleeve Printed Top but getting gun shy about ordering.  Too expensive to return and takes a month for an exchange.

And her petie pants are generally too long - longer than the inseam indicates.

Also wish she'd offer more 3/4 or elbow length sleeves - too many long sleeves for spring/summer.

@FranandZoe  Not every clothing line is made for every body type. Sounds like this one is not for you.

Like @Janey2 stated, sounds like Kim's line isn't for you.

I really like her clothes, especially her leggings. I find her petite pants a good length when they are 28"-29". I have to say, all QVC clothes seem to run large. I'm usually a basic small but with QVC everything is either an XS or XXS.

Also, I dislike 3/4 sleeve. I never order them. Searching this sleeve length Belle does have one of the most. Perhaps narrow your search and you will find something you like.

I have never purchased Kim's tops but her jeans fit me to a tee, except the bottom of the legs always turn up and the small pockets do not stay in place - the insides of the pockets pull inside out.  I have had better success with Logo jeans.

@cjm61   I was mainly talking about her latest offerings.  I buy a lot of SG - her petite pants fit me perfectly.  I like QF too.  Thanks.

I really like 3/4 sleeves too, most long sleeves are too long on me and I like my elbows covered, so the 3/4 is perfect for me.

Her clothes were always a return for me. They swallow me whole. Shopping her things is not a risk I’ll take. The plus side is I no longer see any of it as unique or pretty or appealing. It’s just not my taste. I like: Fitted & Classic. But others have great success with her stuff. Good for them.

She makes them to hide the body.  They are made for over-sized women.

@FranandZoe

I actually agree with you totally.

I have purchased many KG....and I now have to size down 1 or 2 sizes to get my best fit.

With tops/sweaters that is.....I haven't found jeans to be larger.

Used to always order my usual QVC size.

You don't have to wait a month for an even exchange!

Call CS and have them place the order for the new size/color.  It is sent no charge.  Then just return the wrong size with a note an even exchange was already done.

I disagree with @rms1954

I am a smaller person and they are designed for me as well.  As with any line, it may take a try or two to find your best size in that line.
