Johnny Was complaint

[ Edited ]

I realize this is the Q and I am grateful that they let us talk. I'm not praising any other vendor, I'm just venting.

I am beginning to think Johnny Was is crooked.  I order things but nothing happens and my money is tied up except I'm so confused I don't know what's going on.  Anybody else have this problem?

nope.  never had a problem with them.  Lovely merchandise, quick to ship.  Maybe the items you have ordered are out of stock.  Have you contacted customer service?

I ordered a set of five face masks back in the spring. They were supposed to be made from a variety of Johnny Was super cute, colorful fabrics. There was a photo showing the fabrics. After waiting four weeks I received the masks. One of them was pretty, the other four were made from dark, drab, ugly prints - nothing like the fabrics seen in Johnny Was catalogs. I've only worn one and donated the others. That's my only experience with this company.

I have purchased many items from Johnny Was, some from Neiman Marcus and some from the actual website.   Never had a problem.  It does sound like something is going on now.

But, I also ordered some masks awhile back.  Same issue another poster had.  One mask was lovely, the others were drab and nothing like the picture.

I like the Johnny Was masks.  I think they and the DXL masks are the best on the market.  Just my opinion folks.

I'm waiting for  a ton of stuff that I've ordered and paid for and there we are.

@stuyvesant ,

I also buy most of JW from NM and from his online shop at the Hamptons they even honor all the promotions and more. Unfortunately I also had the same experience with one set of the masks the other was lovely🌻I suggest that you use the chat and connect with one of the sale associates

I bought a set and they are among my favorites. A plus is that you can use a filter with them.

I purchase my Johnny Was from NM mainly. I ordered masks thatook a wile to arrive and they were a mix of patterns. I put several items in my cart during the 30-70% off sale and they were sold out before I could buy them. Customer Service was great and now I receive periodic emails from one their clerks in a store. They have some of the most creative and colorful silks.

I have noticed that Johnny Was' shipping and refunding are both really slow right now. They seem to be a very legit company. I have done business with them for years without a problem. If you call them they almost always take care of the problem while you are on the phone. Don't worry, just call them.
