Joan Rivers snubbed in Oscars In Memoriam..

Joan Rivers wasn't included in the Oscars remembrance of all the entertainment people that passed in 2014. Why not?!?! She WAS the Oscars! She was integral in the whole production and fanfare that makes the Oscars what it is today. She was the reason we all tuned in early to watch the celebrities filter in, and judge their outfit choices. I don't know how they could've overlooked her!

Actually, I didn't think of it (Joan Rivers) when watching, but now that I do think about it, maybe they should have said something. She was a real character!

Joan Rivers was not an actress...so I don't see why she would be included.

They could have added her but since she was not in the film industry (actor, director, producer, etc.) she was left out. Considering she was on the red carpet interviewing for years, she should have been included.

But, arguably, she was on the red carpet for television. She was a television personality - and a big one. But, I understand why she wasn't included here.

Sorry, but didn't ever associate Joan with the Oscars. All I know is that she hosted a show on E afterwards where a panel of nobodies would criticize with supposed humor the attire of the actors and actresses. For the record, I liked Joan on the Q and thought she was a very funny lady most of the time.
