Everything in clothing on Q has gone up terribly. Todays value, 30 bucks for shorts? Also, I liked Susans clothes but (and you can laugh if you want) I now order (and get many compliments) on Jacquiline Smiths tops through Kmart which are the same as Susans liquid knit (do not wrinkle and hold up well, etc) for 10 to 15 dollars on sale. So why would I pay 40 to 50 dollars for Susans? I wont. And Logo? 50 dollars for a T shirt? Sorry but no thanks! I can do better in stores and elsewhere online.

In reference  to clothing items going up, that why I shop @ TJMAXX AND Ross. The style of clothing I see on shopping channels I see in those stores. My casual wear of straight leg pants and big shirts are my staple items. For designer label pants or shirts @ Ross from $14 to 30 dollars at Tjmaxx $20 to 40 dollars. There are others retailers that have  even cheaper prices. I love Clarks  shoes, but only buy when on sale. I have never paid more than $40 dollars for Clarks or for that matter any type of clothing or shoes. Sales and bargains.

I purchased several pairs of Bermuda shorts (locally) last summer for $40 a pair,  I didn't mind the cost because I loved the material and I liked the way they looked on me.  Sometimes Bermuda shorts can be too wide in the leg but these had slim legs and they were perfect.

I did go shopping for new tops and found some really nice quality tops ranging in price from $14 to $20.  If you are looking for bargins, shopping online isn't always the best.  I sort of like to try things on before I put down the cash.

I think the V (value) in QVC barely exists.....yes I know prices go up but I can get much better pricing at my local mall and I don't have to pay shipping and handling to get it to me or pay return costs if it does not fit.

I agree.  I just saw a SG sleeveless tank presented for $42.  By the time you pay S&H plus tax that's $50.  Nope.

Now that I'm thinking about it, $30 for a supposed TSV pair of Denim & Co. shorts is equally ridiculous IMO!

This was one of my biggest issues with the TSV today. The price was crazy.  Add s/h and tax and you're at $35.00 for a pair of no name, casual shorts.

The SG dress on Sunday was horribly overpriced for another no-name, shopping channel dress that sold a boatload.

There is nothing special about the TSV prices and so many things aren't a bargain at all.

QVC isn't the only one that is guilty of this.  HSN sells a lot of merchandise that can be found cheaper elsewhere but the draw to buying on HSN is flexpay, if you consider that a draw.  Just this morning they premiered Sperry shoes and more than once the host mentioned that you can by this brand out in the market but you can't get flexpay.  That was the only selling point because the prices were retail.

LG prices are so high. It would cost me a fortune to dress like a bag lady! Denim and Co. Always had nice clothing reasonable but no more. SG expensive.

I was one of JR's first customers, bought her jewelry right out of the chute.  Even back then if you wanted one of her earring wardrobes you could expect to pay between $40 - $50 and if they came as a TSV for $39, I bought it.  Her clothing from the start was not cheap either, but very well made (as it is today).... I'm 5'8" and can't wear most of her jackets (too short) so I've not indulged often but when I have, the merchandise was very well made!!

It depends on what you love and wear as to whether or not you think the price is worth what you pay.....
