Joan Rivers boucle jacket...

[ Edited ]

The item # is A386303

I just splurged on the tawny port - size medium.

I started off just putting in my wishlist until Jayne Brown said there was only 250 left in that color. The other motivational factor is that today is the only day it will be at the featured price...

SOLD! Smiley Very Happy

Pretty! One of the few items in the JR line lately that looks like something she would have worn. Nice choice!

Cute jacket but beyond what I would want to pay for it.  There still seem to be plenty available so Jayne did do her job!!  Enjoy!

Re: Joan Rivers boucle jacket...

That port is a great classic color for a fall and winter jacket. And such an easy way to dress up basic tops and bottoms.

@kaydee50  Thanks. I really did think about waiting on getting it because of the price still being rather steep at the featured price. However, when there is only 250 over all sizes in the color I wanted, that really isn't that many left overall.

Sometimes, if it's something I really want, I would rather get it without regrets later. Some items never comeback or get restocked.

Who knows, over the next 30 days the price can drop too and I might be able to get a price adjustment...that happens fairly often too.

I also get many pieces at clearance or 'as is' prices, so it makes a splurge like this ok for me Smiley Happy

@Susan Louise  I bought a Joan Rivers boucle jacket from QVC a few years ago. After wearing it to work only a couple times, it got matted where I leaned against my desk and where my shoulder handbag was against the jacket. I threw it out because I couldn't wear it again looking like that.

Hopefully, the fabric has been improved since then.

@Desert Lily  Thanks for the HU. I have bought several boucle garments throughout my life and it is a fabric that does tend to matt/wear out sooner than others.

It is not a jacket I would wear often...mainly for special occasions, out to dinner, etc...not on a regular basis or for work. I'm retired.

If I feel this JR jacket's quality isn't good, I certainly will return it. Glad I purchased it during the extended return policy period. I'm not overly concerned. I just love the look/style Smiley Happy
