If the host say a pendant is such-and-such a measurement, we'd take his/her word for it. I'd say just have the vendor talk about the piece, the inspiration of it, the stone's origin, the legend of the stone or artwork, etc.
I really don't want to hear how many color the hosts has or purchased of the item, whether it be a clothing item or jewelry. I neither need nor want to know 'cus I don't believe it.
lol - and I don't care ever to hear the vendor or artist talk about inspiration, origin, etc. That's probably why I have no Bixby and only one piece of RLMorris. If the piece itself doesn't speak to me, no story will make it say "But me."
I do agree I'm not persuaded by who owns it - not hosts and certainly not posters or reviewers unless a big majority show me proof of shoddy design.

Neither does the Q lately. It drives me crazy. I had to sit with my tablet in hand through 2 hrs. of Bob Mackie. Not one measurement was shown. I called twice and spoke to two different order reps begging them to pass on the complaint ASAP. Customer Service was not available or I would have bugged them!

Well, I prefer to hear about those than hearing a host telling me that she owns 5 or 50 of what she's selling. I purchased several pieces of jewelry from the Q and the other 2 channels, but I notice I don't wear those as much as the ones I purchased from my local jewelry shop. I don't know... maybe because I get to chat and come to know the owners of those shops and/or their assistants...... maybe I should call and talk to Lisa on the phone so I could buy the GILI stuff and become one of her die-hard fans. LOL
