I don't know why people complain about prices and S&H when it's like that most places due to the economy. Just because it's QVC people expect special prices and lower S&H. No one wants to bother to go out and shop ... I think they've been spoiled.

People who have shopped with home shopping TV channels since they started know that the basic idea behind them was not only convenience of shopping but discounted pricing. Take away the better prices & the convenience is no longer as attractive to many of us.

Susan's prices are too high for the fabrics she uses but women are paying it so the prices remain the same or go higher. Same with Logo. Lori's prices are also too high for the quality.

No--most retailers offer FREE s/h.

S/H often stops me in my tracks! I hate paying $6.72 to ship a lightweight Logo top. It's getting absurd. QVC just must not need the sales or they'd have lowered their shipping. Consumers have to be willing to pay it regularly for them not to adjust their tactics.

Some obviously don't care or they'd lower the costs. It's all about supply and demand and the demand has to be there still in spite of exorbitant s/h costs. They are a business so they know what their p/l and bottom line are.

I think that the S&H costs support the liberal return policy. All of us are sharing in the cost of the returns.

The policy is nowhere near as liberal as it used to be Kathleen. I think their return policy stinks now. It's 30 days, and most retailers have 60 days or 180 days (Macys). Some have return policies that place no time limit on returns--ie Nordstroms, Anthropologie, Athleta, Carsons, Sephora, etc.

I don't find their return policy to be liberal at all. I also think their C.S. has gone downhill the past 3 years.

QVC allows returns on makeup for 30 days and other retailers do the same if not more. So, I don't see where the "liberal return policy" is. It's not as liberal as others.

I don't shop at most of those places you mentioned - so I wasn't aware how liberal their returns policies are! I'm surprised! Do they even take back worn merchandise?

The majority of places where I do shop locally have 30-day returns on unworn merchandise in resellable condition - many with store credit or exchange only. So - from my point of view QVC appears liberal. And - with sale merchandise - no returns or exchanges.

I know you live in NYC so it must be quite different. In Indianapolis, the return policy is very liberal. Yes, you can return something worn if it isn't up to your standards--places like Kohls, Carsons, Nordstroms, Sephora, etc. I have used a lipstick before from Sephora that I didnt' like on...returned with no problem. Your question is valid, but in Indianapolis, yes....the return policy is very liberal.

The person who returns something is charged the return S&H cost so exactly how are we all sharing in that cost?
