Not too long ago we had a thread about clothing with words, and I said I have a college sweatshirt, but that's it.

Until this morning. Any piece of cloth that gets me singing and cheers me up is an allowable purchase.

I know the sayings preceded the song lyrics, but I hear Frank Sinatra and the Drifters (or Carole King):

I don't usually go in for shirts with slogans on them, but I bought a T shirt that says "It's weird being the same age as old people!"

It just hit my funny bone and I caved.

I don't like wearing bumper stickers on my chest but every now and then I see a tee shirt that amuses me.  My new favorite says "the great thing about science is that it's true, whether you believe it or not".

The only piece of clothing I have with a slogan is..... "Shopping is my Cardio"

I always wore tee shirts and still have most of them.  I have tee shirts from concerts, a lot of Yankees shirts when I used to go to the games, tees with sayings which I wore proudly.  I am planning to pick out my favorites and have quilts made.  

I haven't worn tee shirts in awhile but I recently ordered one of a woman I admire and support in government.  I have no problem wearing a tee with a saying.

@cindylouwho1958   I received the tops today. FYI - They are the weight of a long sleeved tee shirt rather than a sweatshirt. Very oversized. OK to wear that way or you can go down one size. Not quite what I expected but still fun casual tops.
