It Finally Happened....

[ Edited ]

Hard to believe but a QVC vendor has come up with a cute shirt with VERTICAL stripes.  Must be a miracle.  It's too large for the model as shown; measurements show it runs large, but given the correct size it ought to be very flattering.  Why can't we have more of these?  A342388.

Of course these are by MARTHA STEWART! It even has a partial placket on the front! But, it's polyester. Oh, Martha, why didn't you make it in 100% cotton? I would have purchased both the multi- and the navy-striped blouses today! Love this style and the stripe chosen. Would like to see more of this type of blouse in natural fabrics, please.

I seriously hope this will be a new trend.

@BirkiLady

I am so spoiled by Isaacs pima cotton. Natural fabrics my preference.

I'd like to see it in a cotton/poly blend so there would be no ironing.

I haven't purchased any of Isaac's blouses. Thought most of his were tops and tee's.

A vertical striped top almost has to fit like a tent. If it’s at all fitted, the striped won’t be straight.

@Kachina624...that shirt looks nice but I prefer my stripes laying down....guess I am not used to seeing standing stripes.

It isn’t unusual to find woven blouses with vertical stripes. It is much less common in knits.
