First of all, I'm still not convinced all there measures are needed and will make any difference. That being said, I see that no one on the shows is standing close to anyone, let alone touching. I guess Dennis Basso shows will be off air for a while. (-:

@Still Stylish Lady What would you suggest? I know that if anyone I know has a cold, flu, anything else, I stay away from them. Maybe I have been wrong.

OOPs - I "hearted" this entry by accident. I totally believe that ALL of these measures to halt the spread of Covid19 are critical for everyone to follow. There are many, many reports from scientists that validate this belief. I hope everyone does their best to stay safe and protect those around them.

I also found this so disturbing. "still not convinced all these measures are needed and will make any difference." How is it possible for someone to still say this?

How can science not prevail? I just don't understand and am so appalled and disheartened. How can we beat this horrible disease with this kind of "thought" process!

@Still Stylish Lady Please, BE convinced! These measures are the only hope right now. It is one of the necessary steps that eventually make a difference. Believe it. Read what the scientists and medical professionals are telling us!

The head of WHO:

“Asking people to stay at home and other physical distancing measures are an important way to slow down the spread of the virus and buy time, but they are defensive measures that won’t help us to win,” Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said at a press briefing.

Tedros said countries hit with the virus also need to implement tactics such as isolating and caring for every confirmed case, as well as tracing and quarantining all of the patient’s close contacts.

“To win, we need to attack the virus with aggressive and targeted tactics,” he told reporters.

It is so important that we all know the FACTS.

Also I hope everyone listens to doctors and experts. These measures are necessary. Governor of Louisiana has put things into place and he said he wish he had done it sooner.
