I just saw a plain cardigan by Isaac under the new fashion tab priced at $100..just acrylic and cotton..I know prices are going up everywhere but that price really threw me..I buy less from Q these days..not all because of price also design and quality..I manage a law office and need clothes that look professional. I like things on the plainer side that I can change up with accessories..most of the clothes they feature now are too casual or with prints or embellishments that don't appeal to me..

Re: Isaac Sweater Price

[ Edited ]

I've noticed his line has increased in price the past year or so.  This season I like some of his cashmere sweaters, but they started at over $300.  I've also noticed his items go on sale, but some of his sale prices are still more than I'm willing to pay.  One of my favorite cardigans is a black Isaac cardi, and I got it as a Lunchtime Special for about $20.  Keep watching because you never know when they might have a discount.

I also agree with your point about solids.  I'm more likely to purchase a sweater or cardi if it's plain/solid than if it's a print or embellished style. I guess those styles sell, so that's why we see so many.

I've noticed recently, as prices continue to soar, that the clothing items "on sale" are showing the before prices to be way above what they were. It seems to me that they're kicking up the QVC price, then tacking on a new sale price that's higher than the original. I admit I've never bought any of his items but they don't usually appeal to me, even those made with his "luxury" fabrics. I used to love watching his show on TV years ago, the thrill is gone for me now.

Prices for an item like that are not going up everywhere, bargains are to be found everywhere. You can look online and find endless sales now on similar sweaters. I just ordered a 100 percent cotton sweater for 30 something dollars.

That price on that Isaac sweater is gouging, pure and simple.

Perhaps is the bejeweled buttons that have caused the price to be $100. It does have a 5 star reivew from 2 shoppers. They must think they can get that price for it from someone!

Isaac had a crepe blouse on last week that was 94 and a  day sale for 74.00. Woah

I liked it a lot but not going to pay either price. Maybe one day on clearance later this year.
